About the Presenter
Michael Hoffman is the Founder and CEO of Gather Voices, a Chicago-based software company that makes it easy for organizations to create, collect, manage, edit and share video content.
Prior to Gather Voices, Michael was the CEO of See3 Communications, where he combined his passion for social good with his knowledge and experience of technology and storytelling to support the digital needs of leading nonprofits.
Michael is a long-time consultant to nonprofit leaders and works closely with organizations such as Make-A-Wish, Alzheimer’s Association, Sierra Club and UJA Federation of New York on community engagement and fundraising strategies. He started his career as a Washington-based political consultant and nonprofit fundraiser and learned technology by creating and launching several Internet startups. Michael is an internationally sought-after speaker and trainer on the future of technology and storytelling for social change and he teaches a course in marketing at the University of Chicago.
